Updated Recycling Information
ACUA has recently changed their guidelines slightly and are now accepting #5 plastics! Residents can recycle #1, 2 and 5 plastic bottles, containers and jugs. As a result of that change, they have removed cartons from their recycling list.
PLASTICS
Only recycle #1, 2 and 5 plastic bottles, containers and jugs. Examples: Water Bottles, Milk Jugs, Shampoo Bottles, Laundry Detergent Jugs, Condiment Containers, Plastic Egg Cartons, Yogurt Containers, Iced Coffee Cups, Margarine Tubs. No food or liquid residue! NO plastic bags.
PAPER & CARDBOARD
Flattened Cardboard, Cereal/Shoe Boxes, Envelopes, Magazines, Newspaper, Telephone Books, Junk Mail
