To celebrate the 385th year of the founding of Port Republic, we are now in the beginning stages of planning a Community Parade on Port Day. We are asking children to decorate their bicycles/ wagons with a patriotic theme.

City Hall Closed – 2/21/2022
City Hall will be closed on Monday, February 21, 2022, in observance of President’s Day
Heritage Society Meeting – February 9th at 6:00 pm
The Port Republic Heritage Society will be meeting at City Hall on February 9, 2022, at 6:00 pm.
Transfer Station Closed Saturday, January 29, 2022
Due to the impending snowstorm on Saturday, January 29th, the transfer station will be closed.
2022 Dog Licenses Now Available!
2022 Dog Licenses are now available! All dogs 6 months or older must be licensed in Port Republic yearly. License fees are: $6.00 for spayed/neutered and $11.00 for dogs who are not spayed/neutered. Payment can only be accepted in the form of cash or check.
