Foreclosure and Vacant Property Registration Update
Port Republic has partnered with Hera Property Registry, LLC to administer its Foreclosure and Vacant Property Registration program. In order to comply with the Ordinance, all Owners/Mortgagees/Trustees must register online via HERA Property Registry and pay registration fee. A link will be provided once received. As of today, Port Republic data is being uploaded.

The Port Green Team’s Creative Team Mural Project, “The Flora & Fauna of Port Republic,” was unveiled on Saturday, October 28, to several rounds of applause from parents, teachers, local artists, Green Team volunteers, and others gathered at Bowen Park for the event.

Trails During Hunting Season (November 1 – December 31) Ordinance 3-2017
The trails are closed from November 1 – December 31 (excluding Sundays) with the exemption of hunting and trapping license holders. The general public is prohibited from accessing or otherwise utilizing Open Space Properties in the City of Port Republic during Hunting Season.
City Hall Closed on Monday, October 9th
City Hall will be closed on Monday, October 9, 2023, in observance of Columbus Day
Port Republic Bridge Scheduled to Reopen
County Executive Dennis Levinson has announced that on or about Friday, September 29, the Port Republic Bridge carrying traffic over the Nacote Creek on Old New York Road will reopen to traffic following the county’s $12.5 million full replacement of the bridge and roadway improvements to the nearby intersection.
The project is substantially complete but intermittent lane closures may occur as construction operations are finalized.
Change of Schedule – Tax Collector – Week of September 18, 2023
The Tax Collector will be in the office on Wednesday, September 20th between 5 pm and 7 pm.
She will NOT be in the office on Thurday, September 21st.
